At Stowe Youth centre Nendie organized a huge music workshop bringing together Grime and Techno Producers: Graham Massey of 808 State, Jon E Cash (Black Ops), JJ Lewis, Spykid and Alasdair Roberts (Rough Trade).

Ali came all the way from Glasgow and Graham from Manchester and as we had hired in 4 complete music systems there was a lot to organize and carry! For months before the project we had been arranging collaborations between musicians and producers: Slayer, Neurosis, Alsadair Roberts, Graham Massey, Dillinger Escape Plan and Spykid. Experimenting brings musically interesting results, especially when you cross genres. At one point Spykid brought out a Kraftwerk record and Castro from Dynasty Family started flowin over the top. The room turned to listen. The night before the workshops; Graham Massey, acidhouse pioneer (808 state and Bjork producer) arrives from Manchester at Nina's house in Acton Her family live close to Stowe. It's like a reality tv show'Acidhouse at the Manandhars house'. Graham shows Nina's parents his Factory pass on his laptop and a picture of him with David Bowie. It is widely agreed that Graham is one of the most friendly people we have ever met! There is a lot of pent up energy in the Gym the next day as different MCs vye to impress the visitors. Jon E Cash is visibly moved not just by the talent present but also by the cynicism and sheer huinger 'to make it'. During the first day we are missing tiny jacks and connecting wires and Ronald has to take me to Turnkey in Tottenham Court Road to pay £2.50 so that the £15,000 systems can work! RONALD I'LL SAY IT ONCE AGAIN- YOU ARE A TEKKIE GENIUS!!!
