UKSOUNDTV.COM (UKS TV) is a youth run broadband channel, broadcasting from Bow, East London. Looking at UK underground music, emergent technology and local issues, UKS TV is the first broadband channel managed, produced, directed and crewed by a team of young people. UKS TV is a platform where young people can learn skills in – film, music and TV production, content development, design and technology. Trainee positions UKS TV is looking for trainees who will work toward the Arts Award Silver and Bronze Qualification. This is part of the National Qualifications Framework and is accredited by QCA. Trainees will need to show an interest in art, media and technology. Arts awards are flexible qualifications, which can be tailored to suit the interests of individual students and focus on developing leadership skills in the creative/media sector.
